"As someone who’s picky about the look..."
As someone who’s picky about the look of my glasses, I was a little disappointed. The prescription itself was fine, so they’re usable, but the color I received wasn’t the one I ordered. Overall, the order was only partly right.

I just liked how many frame options glassesonweb.com had. There was a good mix of styles and prices, and it didn’t feel like just the same boring shapes over and over. It took me a little while to pick one, which is a good problem to have. Giving it 4 stars because a few colors I wanted were out of stock.

I ordered a pair of glasses from glassesonweb.com, the lenses turned out better than I expected. The prescription feels accurate, there’s no strange blur around the edges, and my eyes adjusted quickly, which was a nice surprise.
I’ve bought cheaper glasses before where the lenses just felt off, and it always seems wrong when companies cut corners on something people rely on every day. These feel clear, comfortable, and properly made. Shipping took a little longer than I’d hoped, but the lens quality made it worth it, and I’d buy from them again.

"Decent prices, but I’m not totally sold"
The prices are reasonable, so I didn’t feel like I was overpaying. That said, the overall value felt a bit hit or miss to me. It’s not a bad option, but I walked away feeling like it was just okay rather than a great deal

My vision felt weird after getting the new prescription, so I ended up having to go back and get it checked again. It was kind of frustrating, especially since no one followed up with me afterward to see if everything was okay

"The glasses weren’t really what I expected..."
The glasses weren’t really what I expected, so I ended up sending them back. The return process itself was straightforward, no big issues there. But the refund took longer than I thought it would, and it kind of threw off my plans since I was waiting on that money to order a different pair. I had to follow up once, which was annoying, but they did respond and I got the refund in the end. Not a horrible experience, just slower than it needed to be

I ordered a pair from glassesonweb.com and, to be fair, they showed up on time and looked good right out of the box. So the ordering and delivery part was totally fine.
The issue is the quality. The frames feel really light in a cheap way, and after just a few days, one side already feels a little loose. The lenses also seem to scratch way easier than my old pair, which is frustrating.
It’s not even about that they’re unusable, because I can still wear them. I just expected something sturdier for the price, and I don’t think I’d order from them again

I thought the site was just a little busy at first, actually, no, it started feeling cluttered and slow the more I used it. I had to click around way too much just to find basic info, which got annoying fast

"My glasses showed up way faster than I expected"
I ordered from glassesonweb.com and, to be honest, I was mostly just hoping it wouldn’t turn into one of those “where is my package?” situations. I’ve had that happen before with other stuff, and it always somehow arrives on the day I’m not home, because of course it does.
But this order actually came a few days earlier than I thought it would. The tracking updated normally too, which I really appreciated because I check tracking way too often, like it’s suddenly going to teleport closer if I refresh it enough. Anyway, no confusion or weird delays.
The glasses were packed fine and arrived in good shape, so no complaints from me. I wasn’t expecting anything dramatic, just wanted my glasses without a hassle, and that’s pretty much what happened. Happy with how quick it all was and I’d order again.

"15% restocking fee on returns"
On August 19, 2025, I placed an order with GlassesOnWeb.com for $230.10. At the time of purchase, the website clearly stated a delivery timeframe of 8–10 business days. However, the parcel was not even sent out until September 8, 2025, which is 13 business days later, already past the promised delivery period.
When the parcel was eventually shipped, it was returned instead of being delivered to me. I contacted GlassesOnWeb support multiple times to ask about the status of my order and to request reshipment. Unfortunately, their representatives could not provide me with clear answers. I was repeatedly told that a representative would call me back, but I never received any call.
After waiting two full weeks without being contacted, I formally requested a refund on September 26, 2025. Instead of reshipping the product or issuing a full refund, the company processed a refund while deducting a 15% restocking fee (approximately $35). This deduction is unjustified, as I was never informed of such a fee, I never accepted any restocking policy, and the failure to deliver the order was entirely due to the company’s delays and handling, not my actions.
The experience caused significant inconvenience, wasted time, and unnecessary stress. I feel I was treated unfairly both as a paying customer and as someone who made good faith efforts to resolve the matter directly with the company.

I placed an order for sunglasses on glassesonweb.ca and unfortunately, I can confidently say it was a scam-like experience.
Before placing my order, I called their customer service — a very unprofessional and strange individual answered the phone and gave irrelevant responses to every question I asked. That should have been a red flag, but the price was cheaper than other stores, so I went ahead with the order.
I received a tracking number and was told the product would ship in 4–7 business days. After 10 business days, the status was still showing as “pending”. I tried calling again multiple times, and after two days someone finally answered. She told me, “Oh, sorry — your order is not available now, and you’ll have to wait 4 more weeks.”
When I asked why they hadn’t informed me, she casually said, “We forgot to send an email.”
Long story short:
• I never received the product
• I was not refunded
• Their communication is poor and unreliable
⚠️ Be very cautious — this company raises several red flags. In my experience, they are not trustworthy.

I want to give minus 1 star. Once I paid then they sent me a fake tracking numbers, and set the email system to reject all inquiries.

"Awful just awful"
Like others have posted, assume all purchases are "all sales final", and pray what you ordered is exactly what you get. The prices for frame only are very good, and sometimes to get a good price you gotta deal with a bad business, it should not be this way!
I ended up making a PayPal claim. They had the nerve to claim they had not received the return. So I send tracking of course. Then they offered a 60% refund? On a new and sealed item? Then its not in the magic envelope. Took pictures of that too. Paypal saves the day!
